What happens next

If we find conflicts, you'll see the mark, its class, the applicant, and — for marks published in the last two months — the opposition deadline. Conflicts don't always block you: much depends on the Nice classes and how similar the marks are. The free check is a one-time snapshot.

Which trademark registers does the check search?
The free check searches all three registers TMGuard monitors: UK IPO (3.88 million marks since 1876, updated daily via direct SFTP access), EUIPO (3.14 million EU trademarks including 446,888 Madrid designations, updated daily via production API), and USPTO (14 million US trademarks since 1823, updated daily via bulk XML downloads). Combined coverage is 21 million+ trademarks.
What happens if the check finds conflicts?
You'll see each conflicting mark, its verbal element, the Nice classification classes it covers, the applicant, the filing date and its current status (registered, pending, expired, etc.). If the mark is published, we show the opposition deadline. Conflicts don't necessarily block you — it depends on the classes and how similar the marks are.
